Dj Tones started as a vinyl DJ in the mid 80’s, playing in Clubs and Bars in Melbourne. Moving into the 90’s with a diverse range of dance music in his repertoire, he took to Adelaide and introduced the art of mixing to the country town of Adelaide.

Playing Clubs, bars, recoveries and private parties in Adelaide. It wasn’t long before he was recognised for his excellent ability and skills in mixing and keeping punters on the dance floor.

Late 90’s Tones was Introduced to Fresh FM, where he played a huge part in the evolving Dance music Genre for 6 years. Promoting nights for clubs became another avenue that Tones became very fond of and very successful at. 2000 – 2002 Summervibes was created, Australia Day, Semaphore Beach Adelaide & Port Adelaide Council.

Summervibes was a Community event created by Tones with the Involvement of sponsors and Fresh FM, which became another huge success, generating 7000 people on the foreshore.
Tones has played alongside International and local names including Paul Okenfold, Lisa Lashes, Captain Tinrib & Banga Matt, HMC, Mark Dynamix & Dj Josh.

Discovery NiteClub in Darwin has been another hit for Tones, playing 5 nights a week.

After moving back to Melbourne he continues to promote and produce mash ups for personal use and running samples thru mixes.

Genre’s played .. Funk, House, Progressive House, Disco, Nu Disco, Trance, Hard Trance. Tones has a real passion for the music, the way he plays and mixes the music.
