As the co-founder of the iconic Private Function parties, he was instrumental in bringing international titans like Steve Porter, Matthew Dekay, and Habersham to Melbourne for the first time. His commitment to the scene extended to his role co-founding Pretty Simple – the Saturday night institution at F4 – which became a foundational hub for house, techno, and breaks.
Throughout that decade, Dean’s curation spotlighted the very best of home-grown and international talent, sharing bills with legends including Anthony Pappa, Phil K, Luke Chable, Ivan Gough, and many more.
