ALEC MARSH- a DJ and producer whose musical journey began at the age of 19 with an unexpected gig orchestrated by his father. The Eyre Hotel in Whyalla served as the backdrop for Alec’s debut, where a pair of decks were thrown in front of him, and he had a mere week to learn the art of DJing as his father had booked his first gig before he even touched a pair of decks.

As fate would have it, Alec’s father currently hosted a karaoke gig upstairs and i was about to be playing downstairs in the basement, So there was a father/son music duo happening creating a unique atmosphere that sparked the ignition of Alec’s soon to be lifelong passion.

From those early days in Whyalla, Alec immersed himself in the world of music, transitioning from local gigs to regional events and gigs, cultivating a distinctive style that seamlessly blends anything from house, Minimal, Hardstyle but mostly now techno and trance. His commitment to pushing boundaries and with the ability to adapt to diverse genres set him apart in the industry.

Fast forward to the present day, Alec has relocated to Adelaide, where he has been honing his craft as a bedroom DJ while diving into the intricacies of music production. His dedication to continuous growth led him to participate in the first Your Shot competition in Adelaide 2023, marking a pivotal moment for him.

On December 1st, 2023, Alec took Center stage at Divide Nightclub for CTRL, a momentous occasion that saw him perform and take over after none other than Uberjak’d, his most admired DJ and producer. Sharing the spotlight with industry heavyweights Trey Pearce and Lister, Alec showcased his skill in the electronic music scene, leaving an indelible mark on the audience. This moment will never be forgotten by Alec.

As the calendar flicks over to 2024, Alec Marsh emerges as a name to watch.
