Artist Bio:

Common Tribe is a collaborative duo project formed by highschool friends Peter and David from Melbourne. With a strong passion for underground electronic music, particularly Techno, they joined forces 4 years ago to express their unique interpretation of the genre. Common Tribe quickly gained recognition in the European Techno scene, signing multiple record deals with esteemed labels such as GRYPHON, Eclipse Recordings & Mercurial Tones to name a few.

Their tracks showcase meticulous attention to detail, combining driving rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and captivating soundscapes. One of their more recent EP’s, “Forgotten,” released through X&Y Records, features two tracks and includes a remix by renowned Australian Progressive Techno producer Alegra. The EP received a stellar response, particularly the remix, which made its debut at the Bush Techno stage of Esoteric Festival. With a heightened focus on live shows and parties entering 2024, the lads have joined forces with Melbourne record label & brand Proponent Records, where they’ve been playing their melodic-driving style of Techno at events across Melbourne’s inner north and CBD venues.

Common Tribe’s continued musical vision and collaborations solidify their position in the Techno community and exemplify the power of friendship and shared passion in the transformative potential of music.
