Artist Bio:
CJ Slayer, winner of Your Shot 2022 is a Melbourne techno DJ making waves, she’s long been in the electronic music scene, raving her way to a solid musical education.
Her sets are driving with a diverse range of electro, breaks and hard hitting techno. She dubs her style as ‘janky energy’ mixing with creative layers, drops and chops similar to her ‘all sorts’ personality in an attempt to bring her audience on a journey to the unknown.
Recently, CJ made her international debut at Chasing Summer festival, Canada supporting artists Tiesto and James Hype. She’s played at clubs around Melbourne including Sub Club, New Guernica, Revolver, 24 Moons and Rubix, supporting local and international line-ups including Stranger and Arnaud Le Texier.
She’s also a host at DJ Social Club, a community for music lovers to connect and share music at fortnightly open decks. CJ is passionate about social connection and creating positive vibes within the Naarm community.
