CJ BOLLAND | INTERVIEW | POSITIVE EDUCATION | 8:30PM MONDAY 23RD MAR

Tune in tonight, Monday, March 23rd, 2026, from 8:30pm for a very special episode featuring electronic music legend CJ Bolland. Together they’ll share his sonic journey, exploring the tracks and influences that shaped his career from the Antwerp underground to the global stage.

Artist Bio:

CJ Bolland is a pioneering figure in electronic music, representing a vital link between the raw industrial pulse of the mid-80s and the cosmic expansion of the rave era. As a cornerstone of the iconic R&S Records, he helped define the sound of techno with seminal works like The 4th Sign and global anthems such as “Horsepower”, “Camargue” and “Mantra”. His career began in the smoke-filled basements of Antwerp, where a chance encounter with the “33+8” pitched-down sound of New Beat laid the foundation for a sound that has shaped the very DNA of the genre.

From his earliest days experimenting with his first piece of gear, the Korg MS-20, to his status as a global techno icon, CJ has remained a force of uncompromising quality and innovation. His sound—a balance of industrial energy and deep emotional tension—continues to set the standard for what electronic music can achieve. With a legacy spanning more than three decades, his forward-thinking approach and technical mastery have made him an enduring influence across multiple generations of electronic music fans. Tonight, we look past his own discography to the records that built the legend.

Join Ordia and special guest CJ Bolland at 8:30pm tonight, Monday, March 23rd, exclusively on Kiss FM. Don’t miss this chance to hear firsthand from one of the true pioneers of the scene.
