Cell is an up and coming local producer and dynamic live act hailing from Naarm, captivating audiences with a primary focus on crafting immersive, improvised Hardware sets. Seamlessly navigating through a spectrum of genres, including Techno, Trance, Electro and UK Garage, Cell maintains a distinctive and recognizable sound.
Cell’s productions also encapsulate all aspects of underground dance music. Syncopated rhythms, deep basslines and high bpms, blending genres and influences to ultimately arrive at his unique and diverse style of music. The inception of Cell's venture into improvised performances was fueled by a singular ambition — to deliver the spontaneity and raw energy inherent in live sets, while preserving the adaptability that DJs enjoy. This unique approach allows Cell to pivot seamlessly between genres, attuned to the vibe of the crowd.
All live performances are created with the Elektron Octatrack, Elektron RYTM, Erica Synths LXR-02 and Launch Control XL. Nothing Prepared, all on the fly.
