Artist Bio:

Raw, hypnotic and hard techno with acidy melodies and hefty lows – Caity draws big inspirations from labels such as KD RAW, The Acid Mind Recordings and Filth on Acid.

A guitarist/bassist and audio nerd first, music has been the driving force behind Caity’s life. Caity has studied sound production and live monitoring and has worked in the music industry (music sales & sound engineering) since the age of 15.

After years of living and breathing the Melbourne club scene & Australian festival scene, Caity finally established herself as a DJ during lockdown. Caity has already had the opportunity to throw down her meticulously-planned sets at iconic venues like Melbourne Pavilion, My Aeon, Radio Bar & Revolver Lane. She has played for Kiss FM, Area3000 & Anomalie Collective and has a residency at Lucky Schmuck in Thornbury, where her DJ duo run ‘TUNNEL VISION & Friends’.

No stranger to running events, Caity established her own techno collective in 2023 called ‘150 BPM’. 150 BPM showcases the faster, darker, harder and more experimental sides of techno with a strong focus on upcoming talent, while pushing artists to play what they thought they could never get away with.
