Abhay is an emerging artist in Melbourne’s underground techno scene, known for crafting immersive journeys through minimal and progressive techno with a distinct sound that blends deep bass lines, dark grooves, and grungy textures. Abhay began his musical journey in 2022, drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Oliver Huntemann, Christian Craken and Victor Ruiz. His every set is a unique exploration of rhythm and mood characterized by a carefully curated selection of tracks.

Since his humble beginnings, Abhay’s infectious energy and genuine curiosity has quickly made a strong impact in the scene, earning himself a devoted following and opportunities to perform at bush doof’s, exhibitions and various renowned nightclubs like My Aeon, New Guernica, Killing Time, and more.

Beyond his performances, Abhay is dedicated to fostering community within the local music scene, often collaborating with other artists and emerging talent to create memorable events. In 2023, Abhay co-founded the collective known as Always Grounded Sometimes Cooked, or commonly referred to as ‘AGSC’. This collective is based on throwing exclusive, avant-garde and renegade techno house parties in the heart of the CBD. Featuring amazing line ups, immersive visual art and a full house, AGSC gatherings are truly noteworthy.
