Karan aka HYBE is a DJ based out of Melbourne, Australia. Hailing from a city called Bangalore in southern India where he began his musical journey, Karan’s passion for DJing was inspired by the various artists he got to meet during his stint as a nightlife blogger. His first project was a trio crew called KASHER which focused on progressive and melodic sounds. They performed at a number of venues like Kitty Ko, Blue Frog, Indigo XP, and CLOUDNYN, to name a few while performing alongside a number of international and local artists. After moving to Melbourne, Karan branched out to kickstart his solo project, which was aimed at deeper and tech-house sounds. And so HYBE was born.  4 years in, Karan has performed at venues like New Guernica, Storyville, Lucky Coq, and 303 Sydney Road and even hosts his own radio show on KISS FM called the Weekend Chug.
