In order to celebrate the release of the Tilt Shift series of shows at Land Of Plenty, I took the opportunity to invite good friend and music star Iain, the brain behind the events, and most importantly the musical genius behind Stockholm Syndrome, to give us a guest mix showcasing the current trends he keeps an eye on.
So here it is, this THURSDAY 18TH OF NOVEMBER at 3PM AEST. Some Nu Wave and Dark Disco sounds incoming.
Don’t forget to check his socials for releases and events, which you can also find in the Kiss FM events feed.
Event blurb below.
“We invite you to join us for a Month of Sundays at our favourite St Kilda rooftop – Land Of Plenty. Every Sunday between the 14th of November and Christmas.
Forget 1.5 hour “in and out” time slots, below average bulk food and poorly made drinks.
We present to you the idea that “bottomless” and “quality” aren’t mutually exclusive concepts…
To begin with….We’ve loaded the bar with beers from moondog brewing, Fizzer Seltzers, Spritzes and Cocktails from Okar and Non-Alc greatness from Lyres for those having a sober session, or just taking it easy
The kitchen will be pumping out hot and cold canapés and tasty numbers served from the BBQ Think housemade Charcuterie, croquettes, sandos, wood grilled skewers, boozy icey poles and much more. Vegans and other dietries catered for of course.
This party comes in either a 3 hour time slot (3-6 or 6-9) or the whole straight 6 hours for the Sunday Sesh champions. No kicking you out- You’ve got the whole day with all the food and drinks you need.
To soundtrack these glorious Sunday arvos, we’ve enlisted Melbourne’s finest in the world of Nu Wave and Dark Disco. Guaranteed to get the feet stomping and the blood pumping.”
