WELCOME TO THE VISCERAL RADIO FAMILY – SLB!!
James Selby, also known as SLB, is a Melbourne-based DJ with roots in London. He began his DJ career in 2006, initially spinning vinyl records with popular Ministry of Sound tracks. By 2008, SLB was fully immersed in the drum & bass scene, drawing inspiration from acts like Pendulum. His musical style is a blend of various electronic genres, with a particular fondness for techno.
Over the years, SLB has had the opportunity to support many of his musical idols, including Pola & Bryson, Fred V, BCee, Camo & Krooked, Matrix & Futurebound, and Stanton Warriors. He’s also performed at major events like Earthcore festival. Currently, SLB is focusing on expanding his home studio, filled with synthesizers and a modular setup. He spends time at the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio, working on his music. He’s excited about performing live and is planning to release an EP next year!
