Ivan Berggren, aka Paresse, is a Swedish music producer from Stockholm whose tracks, on labels such as Eskimo Recordings, Frau Blau and Correspondant, draw upon dub, balearic house, Italo disco, electronica and more to produce timeless, beautiful sounds.

In may 2023 he released the 4-track “Animachine” EP on Eskimo Recordings. Remixes by Lilia Tirando A Violeta (Hyperdub UK) and Guy Tallo drops in June.

Last year Paresse released the climate song ’Sharpened Knife’ together with Swedish singer Titiyo and featuring the British climate activist Dominique Palmer.

In 2021, Paresse released the acclaimed full-length album “Alchemy Trax” on Tel-Aviv label Frau Blau.

Having released vinyl & digital records on respected record labels and frequently getting support by many reputable radio stations and big name DJs. Paresse’s tracks and remixes are rocking dancefloors worldwide and has appeared on several compilations.

Timeless, beautiful music, it’s easy to see why Paresse’s releases have already found favour with DJs from across the musical spectrum from The Hacker to DJ History’s Bill Brewster and onto the likes of Ewan Pearson and his new EP is sure to build on the Swedish producer’s fast growing reputation.
