DHARMA | GUEST MIX | 14/05/2024 | BRAIN FOOD RADIO

Dharma – 30 minute guest mix on Brain Food Radio – 10pm to 11:30pm (AEST) – 14th of May 2024 (guest mix from 11pm)

Born in Sunderland and now London based, Dharma has surfaced with a formidable musical background – performing as a multi-instrumentalist in orchestras, bands, and most recently as an electronic music producer. Dharma’s distinctive, yet unique sound takes major influences from the likes of Flying Lotus and Aphex Twin.

Still only in his twenties, Dharma has released on a multitude of labels including Permanent Vacation,
Man Power’s Me Me Me imprint and most recently the legendary R&S Records where his track
‘Structured Chaos’ featured on the label’s ‘In Order To Dance 4.0’ album and received widespread
acclaim including support from the likes of Jennifer Cardini, Jody Wisternoff and Franky Wah to name
a few.

2023 had also seen the new producer step up and take his live set on the road with performances across
the UK including a headline show at the renowned Bad Chapel party in York and most recently
supporting I Hate Models at E1 in London.

Dharma’s latest release saw him make his debut on Hammer’s Remmah imprint with the enigmatic
three-track EP ‘Electric Stress’. With its ravey stabs, driving breakbeat and evolving melodies, the title
track is an ode to rave culture and the many Jungle and Techno cuts that came before it. The E.P
received overwhelming support from dance music press as well as the wider music press with features in
DJ Mag, DJ Mag Spain, Crack Magazine and Notion Magazine. As well as this, Electric Stress made
marks amongst some of the industry’s biggest names most notably receiving support from Laurent
Garnier, Heidi, Tim Sweeney and Sam Divine.

2024 sets to be a huge year for Dharma as he prepares for an incredibly busy release schedule with
forthcoming releases on Anjunadeep, Maceo Plex’s Lone Romantic imprint and his much anticipated
debut E.P on R&S Records.
