UNITY is a concept launched in 2018 that will see Ferry collaborate with iconic trance acts throughout the year with the vision of uniting the Trance community for a bigger cause. Ferry has partnered with VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, an organisation formed to reinstate music programs for children, which has helped 2,100 schools to date. The first of these collaborations came in the form of icon Paul Oakenfold, a track that Billboard hailed as the perfect starting point for UNITY.

Ferry Corsten (NED)

Hailing from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Ferry Corsten’s a name that needs no introduction. From what began as a hobby in his bedroom and turned into full-blown profession, Ferry was instrumental in shaping the Trance genre as we know it today. From his early releases under the System F alias and one half of Gouryella alongside Tiesto, the discography runs deep in what are considered be be classics of an era. Ferry relaunched Gouryella as a solo project in 2016 with the hugely popular ‘Anahera’ single, which went on to win that years ASOT “Tune Of The Year” and saw him gracing the stages of EDC, Ultra, Tomorrowland and more. Ferry continues to break new ground in the trance world and beyond, demonstrated by his nomination for Best Trance Act at the 2017 IDMA’s. Always breaking new ground Ferry’s recently collaborated with the likes of Aly & Fila, Paul Oakenfold & Jordan Suckley as well as putting out ground breaking solo singles like “I Love You (Won’t Give It Up)” & “Trust” of his recent artist album “Blueprint”. With a back catalogue to rival the very best, expect to hear a showcase of everything that is Trance when Ferry’s touches down in Melbourne.

Airwave (BEL)

A true activist in Electronic music of all kinds for well over 15 years, Belgian Airwave’s discography counts more than 250 records and dozens of remixes, many of them being supported by the biggest names of the industry. Genius Composer and Performer, the man’s imprint on the scene is remarkable. Hit by surprise by a virus called Electronic Dance music, Laurent developed his knowledge of music and technology in Parallel until his first demos saw the light of day in may of 1995. 1996 saw him release his first tracks on the infamous Bonzai imprint, but that is 1998 that saw him grow up and become the progressive trance artist we know today, with the release of his first Airwave record, I want to Believe, immediately picked up by UK’s own Sasha and Oakenfold, and later on by up and coming youngster Tiësto, gaining popularity as much as he was playing Laurent’s records. worldwide. Fast forward to 2018 and Airwave is one artist who can say that he held his musical integrity and stayed true to his sound, much like his JOOF label boss John OO Fleming. His latest releases ooze progressive class with releases like “Rain Upon My Skin”, “Forget The Past” & “Time Is The Healer”. Prepare to throw the genre book out the window when Airwave takes to the stage, because the only given will be the quality we’ve come to expect from him.
