Return to Rio has announced the massive line-up of international talent set to shine as part of the ‘Ultimate Weekend Away’ this November 9-11. 

Headlining the three days and nights of magic, mischief and mayhem is Sasha, the world’s first superstar DJ and Last Night on Earth founder. Testament to his four decades at the top and with no sign of slowing down, the melodic music maestro will be joining the party fresh from his 2018 Ibiza season which includes performances at Pacha, DC10 and Privilege.

Another stalwart of the scene, Lee Burridge of All Day I Dream fame, will be taking the Riopians on a magical musical ride with a rare Australian festival appearance.  For many his sunrise sets at Burning Man have become an annual pilgrimage and a riverside sunset set promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Fellow All Day I Dream residents, Hoj and Robot Heart andMayan Warrior princess  Öona Dahl will be setting the tone with their signature grooves.

The madcap good time continues with Skream, the super-skilled producer who’s raw sound and lose-yourself madness has made him legendary worldwide. He’ll be taking the reins from long-standing Rio resident and original Superfreq, Mr C.

Pack the glitter and get ready to shimmer as Greg Wilson and Late Nite Tuff Guy will be igniting the disco vibes poolside. Dress up to get down as they dig deep in the archives to create a tropical boogie wonderland.

Roni Size the D&B innovator and Full Cycle Records founder, will also be bringing his unique sound and flavour with a history lesson in beats and bass.

Rounding off a bill of momentous music is Cid Inc who’s hypnotic progressive house and techno will leave the Riopians in a spin, the dynamic duo Blond:Ish and rising star of the underground scene, Tara Brooks.

Not just a dancing destination, Return to Rio is a paradise for those with a penchant for good times. Australia’s most vibrant fancy dress party is in full swing morning, noon and night with otherworldly creatures and extraordinary critters around every corner.

In amongst the music and matchmaking, guests can take part in the rest of the Rio festivities on offer, which include immersive performances, crazy golf, water skiing, a giant jumping cushion and splash park. Guests are also invited to contribute to the colony with a random act of kindness.

Sydney’s finest mixologists will take care of the cocktails and a selection of fantastic food trucks will make this a gourmet getaway to remember, plus the site boasts all the premium facilities you’d expect from a world-class resort. Tickets range from $250-$300 and include a $10 Eco-Bond (in keeping with our Leave No Trace policy).
