Dance Flaws and House of Friends are proud to come together and welcome house music legend Robert Owens.

One of the defining voices in house music, Robert Owens is sown into the fabric of electronic music itself.

Often associated with the late 80’s golden era of Chicago house and most notably his work with Larry Heard in the group Fingers Inc, Owens’ recognisable, soulful voice has helped shift and propel house into deeper and more emotive territories.

Owens’ body of work includes, ‘I’ll Be Your Friend’, ‘Visions’, ‘Bring Down The Walls’ and one of dance music’s milestone moments, the Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie produced ‘Tears’.

Carrying on a legacy that resonates to this day with an array of tracks that still create memorable moments on dance floors all across the globe, it’s an honour to have Robert Owens grace the stage at Yours&Mine on what is going to be loved up affair, everything that the fundamentals of house music are based upon.

Joining us for the night are two of Melbourne’s most gifted and hardest working selectors, Sophie McAlister and Crown Ruler’s Lori.

On warm-up duties, we have the ever loveable, Finding Figaro and of course on the cooling down and after hours vibes will be selectors from Dance Flaws and House of Friends.
