The History…
The Cable brand stems from one of London’s most renowned venues which was forced to close in 2013 due to rail network redevelopment. Cable was infamous for it’s atmospheric two tunnel arched dance-floors surrounding London Bridge railway station. It’s impressive lighting and effects production as well as its iconic sound system created the perfect cocktail for a 900 patron Sunday Dance experience which carried you into the early hours of Monday morning.

The Event…
Cable has selected a new venue called Backlane – 105, Artists Lane, Windsor to launch their brand in Melbourne and to bring the epic Sunday Day Sesh back to Windsor.. When walking up Artists Lane, you will be greeted by some of Melbourne’s finest street art, kick starting the inspiration to your Sunday.. If your weekend has been long and the energy levels are low, then top yourself up from the Street Food menu. Wash away your weekend sins with a cocktail from the extensive list on offer. Who doesn’t love a Bloody Mary to jolt back the life of the party!

The Cable productions team have curated an audio & visual and entertainment experience that consists of industry leading sound systems, lighting, effects and dancers that pays homage to the original London venue. About the only thing we wont have, is the token Tiger, but that’s only because healthy and safety regulations won’t allow it… excuse the Scarface undertone.

Cable is an all inclusive event, we encourage individualism, freedom of expression and creative outlets within respectful boundries. The Line-Up

Auler
Hailing from the city of Medellin, Colombia, DJ AULER enjoys setting the dance floor on fire. His inclination towards the Deep House & Tech House genres show a dynamic and enveloping music style that is packed of definitive baselines and continuous melodies.

Lucho Cardona
Lucho Cardona is a DJ from the city of Medellin, Colombia.
He is part of E-concepts (Col) and Deep Rooted Productions (Aus).
He has been mixing for more than 13 years in different festivals and parties around the world. His musical wave goes through the deep, house and techno genres with a strong Latin tendency.
He has been following his passion for music and honing his talents for more than 13 years mastering the art of DJing behind the decks in some of the premier night spots in America and Oceania.
Seemingly a natural since his early teens, Lucho Cardona began spinning for friends at private parties, and was soon filling in for DJs at local clubs all over his region and country. His signature deep – tech – house style mixed with energetic vocals has since become an unmistakable sound that has been heard in different countries.
Prior to becoming a DJ, his younger years were still filled with music. Growing up with a family centred in festivals and musical events which opened him up to the electronic dance music scene. Once exposed to the club and rave scenes, he couldn’t get enough of the beats; he was hooked immediately to the vibe, the crowd, the atmosphere, and the pure thrill of controlling the journey. His focus is always on the feeling and the realness of the music and its message without losing his musical roots.
Montana Azul
Montaña Azul means Blue Mountain in Spanish but unlike her name would suggest, Montaña Azul actually grew up in the Southwest of France and started her production and Djing journey soon after discovering the Australian doof scene (as surprising as it sounds!!). Her style ranges from downtempo to hard techno, including 50 shades of house (the kind of house you can afford ;)), focusing more on tracks’ atmospheres, instruments, and textures rather than on a specific genre.
David Guetta is Montaña Azul’s spirit animal, and she wishes he was her dad. But unfortunately, he is not, so she works really hard so one day she can be as rich and famous as him.

Asteria
Asteria is a scientist by day and club rat by night. Following a spell as a fully-fledged metal head in her youth, she fell for the hard-hitting and fast-paced characteristics of drum & bass which evolved into a love for all dance music. Over her 10-year DJing career, she has played across Melbourne at venues such as Brown Alley, Bourke Street Courtyard, My Aeon, New Guernica and Revolver as well as supporting an array of international artists. She prides herself on logically crafted mixes with smooth transitions, a solid groove and a whole lot of bass.

Medillin
Medillin is a medley of 3 passionate DJ’s whom have come together to create a jaw dropping, floor stomping act that will have you moving and grooving to their beat. Their Deep Tech sound is unique brining in iconic musical elements from Columbia, South Africa and Australia to form a unified Southern Hemispheric and atmospheric sound that will have you yearning for more.

Chaira Kickdrum
Born and raised in Torino, Italy, Chiara is a Melbourne-based composer, DJ and musician. Her artistic appreciation and blend of music disciplines allow her to produce an eclectic range of musical outcomes.
Classically trained in piano in Italy and later exposed to electronic music after moving to Melbourne in 2004, Chiara has since moved into a well respected position in the Melbourne Techno movement through her dedication to a refined DJing technique and production of electronic music. This eventually led to extra studies in sound art and design at RMIT University, extending her interests into composition and sound design for screen.
Chiara’s work now ranges across composing and producing music and sound design for film and commercials, creating electronic music for live performance, composing soundscapes for immersive environments and art installations, and the experimental use of field recordings with analogue and digital synthesis.
Over her DJ career, Chiara has performed at a range of venues across Melbourne, supporting international DJs such as Robert Hood and Ben Sims, as well as appearing at White Night, Melbourne Music Week, L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Dark Mofo in Hobart.
In the past year, Chiara has continued her interest in musical composition, performing and DJing while also gaining practical audio engineering experience at GASinc, one of Melbourne’s leading sound design and music companies.
Chiara is currently producing music for picture at the Electric Dreams studios.

Bongani
The love for music stems far beyond the time spent within Australia’s music scene, deeply rooted within his upbringing, Bongani’s ancestral Zulu background of culture through expression, in dance, in art & in music is an important aspect of why he has been able to shine so bright within our scene.
With over 13 years dedicated to pushing the envelope from a creative perspective in his production as well as showcasing his talents across Australia and the Globe. Not locked in to any particular genre his meticulous approach to drawing on concepts of emotion or feelings trying to take you to the places in his mind has allowed him to work across different spectrums.
If you have ever had the pleasure of sharing his passion live on a dancefloor you immediately gravitate towards the infectious energy, playful engagement and story telling track selection very quickly you are introduced as to why he is so highly regarded amongst his peers and fellow party goers.
One third of Melbourne’s premier Melodic Techno record label Recovery Collective, assisting in developing our countries best up and coming artists as well as being apart of a new wave of electronic music, take a second to enjoy this artist in his ultimate element.

Kelly Tee
British Stylist & DJ from Leeds // Groovin’ Outta Melbourne ~ Good Vybez Only 👀
Working as a stylist within the realms of fashion, beauty and music for almost 10 years, UK born and bred Kelly Tee has made a seamless and inevitable transition into the DJ world. Having only played her first gig in March 2021, she has already played some of the most iconic parties and venues within the Australian circuit such as Pitch Art & Music Festival ’22, Tramp Bar (a current monthly resident,) S*A*S*H, Killing Time, Danse, New Guernica, Circus, One Puf, the Grand Prix and the iconic Revolver Upstairs. Impacting crowds with her high energy presence and eclectic music taste, she intuitively knows how to work a crowd.
Never wanting to be fit into a box, Kelly is known for playing a mashup of electronic genres, from big vocal anthems to minimal, tech house to electronica with some UK flava’s thrown all around and in-between. Expect nothing less than good times, high vibes and punchy basslines from KT.

Hyasynth
Hyasynth is an exciting up and coming producer and DJ in the Melbourne underground music scene, specialising in Progressive House and Deep Electro Tech beats. Since breaking onto the scene through his debut performance at Burning Seed in 2019, Hyasynth has showcased his unique talent for whimsical storytelling through dance music, playing for a number of Burner crews across the city. In addition to his ongoing residency with the internationally-renown purveyors of outrageously over-the-top parties, Coco Poco Loco, Hyasynth now also brings his ever-growing talents to the Deep Rooted Productions crew as a resident DJ.
Hyasynth’s dynamic signature sound spans across multiple sub-genres of house and techno, and his sets and own productions focus on the duality and interplay between light and dark, inspiring pure emotionality through being both simultaneously excitingly uplifting and deeply melancholic, with plenty of heavy, hard edges, psychedelic sojourns, and twists and turns along the way.
Never satisfied with linearity in music, Hyasynth delivers exciting full-course degustation meals in each and every set he plays.

Secret Guest
We can’t tell you much about this legend right now, we don’t want to let the secret out just yet… We CAN say, that this person has worked magic for us behind the decks before and let’s just say that the crowd was not disappointed.
