Dancehall ah we EVERYTHING!

Immerse in a day where we celebrate Dancehall, and learn from Jamaican Dancehall heavyweights from Jamaica and the Diaspora right here in Burncity!
On the final day of the Aus Dancehall Fest it’s time to dance, sweat and expand your knowledge and repertoire in all elements of Jamaican Dancehall dance. With instructors flying in from across the globe, and across the country this is a rare opportunity to learn authentic Dancehall in person with Jamaican Dancehall pioneers, New Skool dancers and those repping for the culture in the Diaspora.
The Aus Dancehall Dance Camp kicks off from:

1pm – 8:30pm at Jungle City studio, 350 Murray Rd Preston on Sunday 12th October.

The dance workshops on offer will be presented by a stella line up as follows:
• Latonya Style – Dancehall cultural ambassador, from Kingston Jamaica
• Pyrotech Unruly – Jamaica born, Dancehall dancer from New York, USA
• Miss Rose – Dancehall dancer with Caribbean roots from London, UK
• Deco Zymm – Jamaican born & raised Dancehall dancer from WA
• Rasta Huxx – Jamaican born & raised Dancehall dancer from Melbourne
Workshops will run for 1 hr each with 15 min intervals so pack your water and snacks coz this will not be a day for the weak and you won’t want to miss a beat! Whether you are new to Dancehall or have been in the scene since day dot, do not miss this MASSIVE opportunity to not only learn first hand by those preserving the culture, but also to be part of our local Dancehall community alive and thriving in Naarm.
