Pretty sure we can all agree that The Wedding Singer was one of those formative movies that brought together so many wonderful and wonderfully tragic elements of the 80’s, condensing it into 1 hour and 35 minutes of sheer gold, beautifully tying in a love story of two (unlikely??) people, the waitress and, well, the wedding singer… Ah, Robbie and Julia… (love heart)

Fast forward some 40ish years to 2024, and well, we have an urge to relive this movie in any way we can, and boy ow boy do we have a RAD plan. We’re going to recreate a wonderous 80’s wedding reception in the heart of Brunswick, amongst THE bridal precinct of Melbourne. And best of all? We want you to join us! (dressed to match of course).

Whilst there won’t be an official bride and groom, there will be a bridal table and cake! Plus, an awesome band to dance the night away with while you enjoy the complimentary food and photobooth.

Help us create a momentous tulle, chiffon and polyester filled evening; topped with larger-than-life hair, can’t miss it if you tried make-up; and, accessories that make Madonna look like she wasn’t even trying. Best of all? Deck yourself out at so many of the wonderful businesses from the Sydney Road Brunswick precinct.

The 2024 Brunswick Ball is an event not to be missed. For $40 ( bf), you’ll enjoy:
