Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, DJ EFUNK has become a familiar name across the global underground house scene. His sound draws from the roots of US house, blending the grooves of Chicago, Detroit, New York, and San Francisco with touches of French filtered and Jackin’ House styles.

He began as a teenage DJ deeply involved in hip hop and funk culture, spinning at school parties and local clubs in Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. Inspired by the black American DJs performing in the region such as Cut Master Rob, he developed advanced turntable skills and went on to place third in the official DMC Competition.

During his university years, EFUNK co-founded the BASEMENT parties, bringing the authentic Chicago and New York house sound to the local underground crowd. What started as passion later evolved into the Underground Vault Project, a mix series on Mixcloud that reached global top 10 positions and grew into a syndicated radio show broadcast on major stations across the USA and Europe.

Today, EFUNK’s sets are featured on Chicago House Radio, Radio Waah, House Nation Radio, Housefusion Radio, Real House Radio, HouseRadio.net, and F-Radio.gr, among others. His guest appearances include DDHT Radio, Houswerx, House Attack Radio, Souljack Digital, and Ibiza Stardust Radio.

In 2023, he made his debut as a producer with Music in the Night on Scuba Grooves. With new releases in the pipeline on a Chicago label, EFUNK continues to shape a futuristic sound that stays true to the underground house legacy that inspired him from the start.
