It’s been four years since BASS STATION last partied together and now is the time to reach out to all the Bass Stations fans and invite you to the Bass Station reunion and (pre Christmas) Party.

Trak Lounge venue is one of the most prestigious and iconic venues located in the heart of Toorak.
It boasts six Bars, a lounge and smokers area and VIP Booths.
In typical BASS STATION style they’ll have a beefed up production with 20,000 watts EAW Stereo front of house PA system, 4 x 4 Full Colour Ilda Lasers, 20 x BSW 250 light Movers, a huge 6.5m x 4.5m LED WALL, FB2, Smoke Jetts, 4 x Gysers and Sparks. Its going to be the real deal.

JASON MIDRO 
DJ / Producer JASON MIDRO is an internationally known DJ / Producer with an incredible passion for music. He has been on top of the game for many years since starting his DJ’ing career in the early ’90s.
Since those days Jason has gone on to create his own production and events company Sound Of Now Productions which ran the iconic BASS STATION brand club nights for many years starting off at CBD Nightclub, ZoZ Nightclub and The Palace.
Jason also ran Sound Of Now Records. He created, recorded and released the Bass Station DJ mix CDs under the Internationally renowned Ministry of Sound brand and The Ministry of Sound Hard NRG CD series which sold over 700,000 units globally.
He has had his own Sound Of Now Show on Melbourne’s Kiss 87.6 FM for over 15 years, now on Thursdays 7 – 8:30 pm. Endeared and loved by many in his hometown of Melbourne, Midro has played in front of hundreds of thousands of people over the years in small and festival arenas.
Some of his most memorable performances are the main stage at some of the biggest dance party events in Australia including Summer Dayze, Gatecrasher, Two Tribes, Slinky, Gods Kitchen, Earthcore, Street Rave, Every Picture Tells a Story and Welcome.

JOHN FERRIS 
Sydney-based DJ John Ferris has been in the club industry for three decades. He is a DJ, CLUB Promoter, Radio DJ, Occasional Producer, Remixer and Writer and a holder of the inaugural award for Outstanding Contribution to Dance Music in the 2000 Australian Music Awards.
A lover of all things seductive that takes you on a journey, John will tempt you with any thing to get you moving your body in ways you never expected. Headlining at major events including the likes of Big Day Out,  Def Qon 1, Sublime, Two Tribes, Transmission, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Sounds On Sunday, Slinky, Welcome NYE, Plastic events and many, many, more.
 JF has played alongside the world’s best like DJs Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, Timo Maas, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyke, Frankie Knuckles, Tiesto, Blutonium Boy, Lucian Foorte, Chris Liberator, Mark Spoon, Taucher, Peewee Ferris, Underworld, Thomas Schumacher, Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine and so many more we couldn’t list them all here.
As a promoter,  JF has staged events such as Gatecrasher, Slinky, Godskitchen, Plastic, ID world tours, massive FUN parties in the Horden Pavilion, and club residencies at Plastic (Syd), Risistance and underground techno Technique, Sublime, Impulse, and Gr8 M8ts.
He also did a ten-year stint on radio this included the long-running City Express on 2SER FM and some others like Millenium Madness as aspirant show on the full-time Sydney- based Rhythm FM.
Alongside Jason Midro, John mixed and toured the very successful Ministry Of Sound ‘Hard NRG’ series as well as the groundbreaking Strictly Techno series for Sony Music / Dance Pool which lead him to nearly a decade as head of the dance label with Sony Music Australia & NZ.

MARK JAMES 
Mark has been a stalwart in the industry. With over 35 years’ experience at the cutting edge as a DJ and one of Australia’s most progressive promoters and dance music recording artist Mark James has done it all.
The Melbournian maintained a massive career as a DJ/producer throughout his musical journey and has worked with some of the world’s best DJ’s, producers, and artists. These include Carl Cox, Pee Wee Ferris , Paul Oakenfold and many others. He has toured Europe several times over the years, promoting some of his then-charting singles.
He was MD of Future Entertainment Australia’s dance music event and DJ touring company, touring the likes of Gatecrasher, Renaissance, Trade, Perfecto and every high-profile DJ around of the time. Bass Station welcomes back Mark James as our special guest as he travels back in time with some classic high- energy hits.

AMBER SAVAGE 
Get ready Melbourne – the darling of the hard dance scene is back at Bass Station to enthrall us all with her energy and zest for life attitude. The now Melbourne resident dubbed the ‘Queen of Hard Dance’ will be smashing it on the decks showing us what its all about during her high-energy set.
Amber has been djing over 25 years starting her career in her hometown Sydney at a very young age. She broke the rule book in those early days in what was then a strictly male-orientated culture.
She ranked Australia’s number 1 female DJ for 5 consecutive years.. voted by Inthemix Top 50 DJ poll. She has not only toured far and wide DJing at the big festivals around Australia but has also toured O/S including Ibiza/UK and Asia and not to mention one of the highlights of her career playing the closing song at Berlin Love Parade in 2006 where overall crowd estimate was 1.2 million people. Amber is still banging it hard with her High NRG  mixes and we are happy to have her playing for us.

SCOTT ALERT
Melbourne DJ/Producer and Director of the club brand Hard Kandy. Scott Alert is no stranger to Bass Station.
Back in the early days of Bass Station, Scott along with then DJ partner Ajax had a residency at CBD Nightclub.  
Since then he has played at almost every major hard dance music event ever held in Melbourne. He is touted as being responsible for the development of the Melbourne hard trance/hard dance scene over the last 25 years. He has released a string of successful compilation CDs representing the Hard Kandy logo pairing off with such luminaries as Jeramy K, Richie Braic, Organ Donors, Doctor Willis, Kidd Kaos and Sherry Allan.
Scott also takes an interest in production and fostering new young DJs and producers within Melbourne.
Bass Station is looking forward to having Scott back onto the big bass stage taking us back down memory lane with some hard classics.
