Joining us this week at tuna HQ for a very special segment is Melbourne based producer/DJ Rami Imam.

Rami will be in from 11:30AM to premiere his brand new EP ‘Meru’ which is forthcoming on Sydney based label Upon Access.

A little more about our guest:

Rami Imam had his first release back in May this year on Waze & Odysessy’s Street Tracks Recordings. The ‘Low On Cyan’ E.P. marked his first ever solo release and now is back with his second E.P. titled ‘Meru’ which will be released on Made In Paris’ label ‘Upon Access’ later this month. ‘Meru’ has afro aspects coming from its vocal, a percussion which compliments the deep grooves and the b-side ‘Lake Atoom’ takes on a more darker approach with punchy drums and spooky elements. The young producer counts George Fitzgerald, Eric Pyrdz, Tale Of Us and Hans Zimmer amongst his many influences, and it’s not hard to hear these references in his work. Expect to hear a lot more from this rising talent over the coming months!
