Dj Simi – 30 minute guest mix on Brain Food – 11.30pm to 1am – 12th of November

Dj Simi is a dj/producer and record label owner from Italy. He has played all over the world in clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Prince (Melbourne) and many more. He has released tracks/remixes on prestigious labels such as Sci+Tec, Kling Klong, Yoshitoshi and Plastic City (to name a few). He was also a successful Italian hip-hop artist called ‘La Famiglia’, selling more than 50,000 copies and playing live all over Italy and some parts of Europe. In 2006 DJ Magazine asked Carl Cox to choose one DJ to ‘face off’ against for a special cover mount CD. The British techno superstar selected DJ Simi, above all others. In 2010 he started his own label called ‘Kenpo Recordings’ and it is still going strong today.
