STRICTLY OZ HIPHOP SHOW

Tune In This Tuesday night as Cook & Dip catch up with Melbourne MC “MR RUCKMAN” about his new album “Cognitive Dissonance” out now

Mr. Ruckman’s 4th studio album Cognitive Dissonance, featuring the stand-out singles The 27 Club, How To Live and Don Ruckman.

Shrewd emcee Mr. Ruckman has been writing and recording songs for well over a decade, toiling away in the underground for several years and generating a buzz through his passionate music and lively performances.

Mr. Ruckman has grown a lot over the last few years, from launching his debut album The Ruckman Record to a full capacity venue in mid 2012 – which saw release on iTunes and into commercial stores, to receiving radio play on Triple J. All before shedding his ‘Kade MC’ shell in early 2013 to become the more matured Mr. Ruckman. Soon after came his controversial concept EP The Born Again Humanist, released through the legendary label Obese Records. The record saw positive reviews with his lead single Mammoth getting several spins on Triple J. Now, 2 years since the fact, Mr. Ruckman is set to launch his new record Sooner or Later, a two-part concept piece produced by secret-weapon; Kean and featuring the first epic single: Drink.

Mr. Ruckman has performed countless captivating shows across Australia, performing with a dynamic 6-piece band including that of seductive back-up vocalist Christian Hemara and accomplished musicians. Mr. Ruckman has sparked quite a buzz and built a substantial following with his profound performances, from sharing the stage with such prominent local names as Horrorshow, Dialectrix and Gully Platoon, to supporting international heavyweights Pharoahe Monch, R.A The Rugged Man and GZA of Wu-Tang.

Aside from his music, Mr. Ruckman has also established himself as a monster lyricist in the battle scene. From headlining the 1-Outs league to battling live Radio, Kade has competed in countless battle competitions, winning two complete tournaments and copious individual battles – including his renowned win against The Tongue in 2010.
