Str1ke – 30 minute guest hybrid live/dj mix on Brain Food – 11.30pm to 1am – 1st of February

Chicago-based Str1ke is Ted Pallas (Greco 727), Sylvia Dziemian (M. Sylvia), a bunch of synths, a few drum machines, and at least two computers.

Ted and Sylvia bridge the gap between commercial production and experimental performance. Their work plays with the vocabulary of nightlife, formatting kick drums, sine waves, effects pedals and records into complex soundscapes with a life beyond the dancefloor. They can be found playing minimal, techno, funk, old skull rave, reggae and rebetiko.
