Rainbow Serpent announces stunning lineup | Tickets on sale NOW!

Rainbow Serpent Festival organisers have announced a massive international lineup for their 19th Australia Day weekend celebration to be held in Lexton next January.

Over 200 Australian and international musicians will perform on five stages at the festival with headline acts including John Digweed (UK), formerly DJ Magazine’s number one DJ in the world.

The diverse range of acts appearing at the event so far includes Hernan Cattaneo from Argentina, United Kingdom’s Dickster and JFB alongside Germans Oliver Schories, Monkey Safari and Pachanga Boys. Swedish musicians are also well represented by Logic Bomb, Critical Choice and others.

Festival director, Tim Harvey, is also excited about hosting a special 20th anniversary show for Iboga records.

Mr. Harvey said, “Rainbow is known for spectacular light and laser shows and we are taking it up another notch this year to have holographic projections during the Iboga celebration.

“As far as we know, that’s a first for any Australian music festival,” he said.

Ace Ventura, MVMP, Emok, Atmos and Ticon are among the Iboga artists appearing at the festival also renowned for elaborate sculptures and art displays.

Tickets to the festival are selling fast, with customers on the mailing list able to purchase tickets at reduced prices before the festival’s lineup was announced.

“We expect to sell out again this year so wanted to give our regulars the chance to purchase on faith before announcing acts and opening sales to the general public,” said Mr. Harvey.

More than just a music festival, Rainbow Serpent also produces five workshop spaces with talks and lectures, a healing space and three days of children’s activities alongside outdoor galleries and cinemas.

Fans are advised they will also need to purchase a car pass for every vehicle entering the festival site this year.

“We take our commitment to the environment seriously and are always trying new initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of producing an event this size,” said Mr. Harvey.

Tickets and car passes are available through the festival website at www.rainbowserpent.net

More international and the first round of Australian artists will be announced in the coming months.
