• Paul Murphy, better known by his DJ name Skratch Bastid is a Canadian DJ renowned for his exceptional skill in many genres and his unwavering work ethic.
• For the Last Decade Skratch Bastid have been playing shows at a rate of over 150 shows a year to adoring crowds.
• Paul got his break from playing and then subsequently winning 3 times Scribble Jam DJ Competition. He now is a Judge for Red Bulls International DJ competition Thre3style event that Paul’s friend and fellow DJ, Jazzy Jeff (of Fresh Prince of Bel-air fame) has judged in the past.
• Skratch Bastid is much more than just a DJ as highlighted by his own range of Hot Sauces. The three types of hot sauces, Original, Garlic Hot and Jamaican Jerk Rub all come in glass bottles adorned with Paul’s smiling face.
• Paul also hosts an annual BBQ/DJ’ing concert called Bastid’s BBQ. The event Which changes venues around Canada Each year is all about good food, good music and good people enjoying a great time.
